The Granary is a delightfully furnished barn conversion nestled in the hamlet of Goveton near Kingsbridge. Located in the rolling South Hams countryside, this fabulous terraced barn and its magical location make for the perfect relaxing and peaceful break. Walking, exploring and enjoying your stunning surroundings is made easy with numerous walks and trails. Exploring the south Devon coastline is a must, however, for those who seek sand and sea, you are only within a short car journey from some of the most fabulous beaches, Bantham, Bigbury-on-Sea and Slapton Sands to name a few.

Returning to The Granary after a full day of adventure is such a welcomed treat. The living areas offer style, space and comfort, and all bedrooms offer quality en suite facilities, ideal for unwinding after an action-packed day. Occasional sleeping can be arranged on request. Or step out of the barn into your fully enclosed garden, spark up the barbecue and dine al fresco in this delightful spot. This is a real treat, especially as the star gazing is second to none due to the lack of light pollution in this area - catching sight of a shooting star or three is the perfect end to the day.

The Granary is ideally situated for exploring south Devon and its magnificent coastline, you even have a public footpath straight from your front door which takes you up a hill to some of the most breathtaking views over the Kingsbridge estuary and out to sea.

Not forgetting the idyllic and attractive nearby towns of Kingsbridge, Dartmouth and Salcombe. Delectable eateries, welcoming watering holes and cafes can be found in abundance in these charming villages and towns.

Also within close proximity you have numerous beaches which are perfect for those lazy days in the sun, or for the action seekers of the group, numerous water sports are available. The glorious sands of Bigbury-on-Sea are a short car drive away (11 miles) and ideal for either kicking back and relaxing or slipping into your wetsuit ready to enjoy a touch of hand-surfing or wind-surfing. If you're new to either technique, help is at hand - only a short distance from the beach is a very friendly and professional surf school, who are equipped to teach on all levels - why not give it a go? Even closer (eight miles) you have the golden beach of Bantham, a real family favourite all year round.

Or perhaps head in the opposite direction to glorious Slapton Sands beach. Steeped in history, Slapton Sands is famous for its role in the Allied preparations for the D-Day landings, a fully restored and rather glorious Sherman tank still stands proudly by the beach-side.

All in all, this beautifully restored barn conversion is set in a magical setting, with so much to see and do, for both young and old. Your location is second to none, with the icing on the cake being The Granary awaiting your return at the end of every day.
