Waterside is situated directly above Tatams beach in the small fishing village of Portscatho. A semi-detached modern house, it has fully double-glazed picture windows taking full advantage of the truly magnificent views of the picturesque harbour and Gerrans Bay. Both the double and twin bedrooms have stunning sea views so you can wake in the morning or fall asleep at night to the relaxing sound of the sea and with French doors opening onto the terrace, this is a wonderful spot to watch the activities in the bay and harbour below without getting your feet wet!

In the village centre you’ll find a friendly pub, several art galleries to explore, a grocery shop and the Harbour Club, which is open to visitors and has cinema nights on Mondays and Tuesdays.

If you want to travel further you have the maritime town of Falmouth and the pretty Cathedral City of Truro both within a short drive, alternatively board the passenger ferry at St Mawes and enjoy a magical journey on the water to Falmouth. There are a multitude of wonderful eating places within a few miles, from the famous Hidden Hut at Porthcurnick beach, the Rosevine and Driftwood hotels with their outstanding restaurants and The Idle Rocks and Hotel Tresanton in nearby St Mawes which both offer exceptional food and sublime sea views. There are galleries selling original Cornish art, farmers’ markets and renowned Cornish gardens to explore so you will always find lots to do, whatever the time of year, and the picturesque coastal path runs in both directions out of the village.
