Our first time in this area, so an eye opener. This is a stunning location, amazing views and a lovely house. The swimming pool is cool, as was the sea, so take wet suits. This is undoubtedly a perfect holiday for a family of keen surfers. We had small children aged 2-7 who loved the pool, the beach and rock pools. Bantham beach is in the photos, and it was only when we got there that we realised we had to cross the mouth of the river Avon to get to it, so needed to drive for 30-40 mins to get to Bantam beach if we wanted to. If you have stocked up on food,( online order worked well ) the weather is reasonably fine, (which it wasn't) and you love the beach, it is a wonderful place. However be warned it is a smart house, with no mobile reception, but thankfully wifi. There were many little things that did not work, the Sky TV, the hand held dyson, (no broom), broken blinds. Be sure to arrive when the housekeeper is there so they can tell you how the house works. The housekeeping service was very good, and available for questions, and arranged for the TV to be fixed. We never used it so can't tell you how it was. The nearest food shop is a 15 min drive away. The only 2 restaurants/ cafes within walking distance are the Pilchard and the Venus cafe. The Pilchard is on Burg island, so only accessible on foot when the tide is out, otherwise on the Sea tractor (£2 cash one way ) also the beach disappears at high tide. ...

We had a wonderful holiday at Sunnynook. It was very relaxing. The views are spectacular, a real balm for the soul.

Thank you.

We had a fantastic stay at Sunnynook. The house and location are truly stunning. The house was spotlessly clean with fantastic facilities and the pool was brilliant (and more than warm enough). There were 10 of us in our party and there was more than enough room to enjoy the holiday without feeling on top of each other. Utterly spectacular views and the beach and amenities were very close by. Would absolutely love to stay there again!...
