The whole garden area is beautifully planted and always immaculately maintained.
These are all rescue hens, so lucky to have been given a second home with loving owners.
The sheep have acres in which to graze happily.
The alpacas are happy to share fields with the hens and sheep.
The sheep are a mix of different breeds, all inquisitive and likely to come and say hello when you walk around the edge of their field.

The chicken coop opposite the owners' cottage, covered in roses throughout the summer...what a lovely home for the lucky bantam hens!

Watch the boats bobbing in Newquay harbour.
This part of the coastline has many beautiful walks, you may even get to see the Poppy fields in season.
The Gannel, just outside Newquay town centre, is a perfect spot to take paddleboards, canoes and kayaks.

Beautiful location. Perfect base for walking on the SWCP. Malcolm and Sally are wonderful hosts. Home made bread, eggs, marmalade, jam and pickle in the fridge when we arrived and beautiful flowers from the garden were a fabulous surprise. We will return. ...

We had the best week at the Summerhouse. We arrived the day after our wedding for a little mini-moon, we were blessed with gorgeous weather which made the place even more beautiful. We took full advantage of the hot tub to watch the sunsets, had a lovely time feeding the animals and thoroughly enjoyed eggs on toast for breakfast each morning courtesy of the hosts fresh supplies on arrival (eggs from their chickens and a homemade loaf of bread). It was amazing to wake up to a beautiful view of the animals in the field and then have breakfast al fresco with a lovely sea view. We had a such a calm and relaxing break after the chaos of planning a wedding. We will definitely be back. Big thank you to the hosts, Malcolm and Sally for being so welcoming and making the whole experience feel so homely - they have stocked up the Summerhouse with pretty much everything you need, always on hand if you have any questions and are just all round lovely people. ...

We had a lovely time at the summer house we stayed for 2 weeks. Amazing view and lovely to wake up to see all the animals in the field. Lovely hosts and loved the homemade bread/ marmalade and jam. Also the fresh eggs. Everything home from home in the summerhouse. Nice and compact and clean. Lovely garden and hottub to chill. We both had a great time....

We have recently had the most perfect week away in The Summer House. The place is just magical and the location is like a corner of paradise. The Summerhouse is perfect the surrounding land is beautiful and the view is great. The hosts were fantastic and the warm bread on arrival was delicious and very much appreciated. Lovely touch along with a few essentials to keep us going. The fresh flowers were beautiful too. This is one of the best places we have ever stayed and I would highly recommend. We definitely would book again if we visit the area. Must mention the beautiful pond and the lovely gardens. ...
