Perfectly placed in the delightful village of Veryan Green on the beautiful Roseland peninsula, this gorgeous traditional semi-detached Cornish cottage is waiting to welcome you and your family or group of friends. Veryan is described as the loveliest inland village in Cornwall and as you drive past the five unique thatched Round Houses which mark the entrances to the village, you will realise you are somewhere very special.

This pretty, double fronted traditional cottage has a lovely front garden where you can sit on the outside seating and enjoy your morning coffee. Step over the threshold and enter the interior and your holiday really begins. The sitting-room with its large sash window that lets the light flood in, is a relaxing space with comfy sofas, low beams and re-claimed feature floors. For cooler months, there is also the added bonus of a wood-burner to keep you toasty. The dining-room which also has a wood-burner is the perfect place to gather the clan and plan your day ahead or perhaps a board game to keep youngsters amused. The kitchen is light and bright with everything you will need to cook up a holiday feast. With a small oak table this is just the spot to perch and chat with the chef.

The stairs (the staircase is steep and turns at the bottom so please take care) lead to the first floor where you will find three pretty bedrooms and a large shower-room (there are two steps down from the landing). The main bedroom has a king-size bed and lovely traditional furniture. With luxury bedding and a super comfy bed you are assured of a good night's sleep here. Bedroom two can be either a twin bedroom or double, ideal for families looking for flexibility. Bedroom three is perfect for younger family members and they will love having this super cute room to themselves. The ground floor bathroom is light and bright, the ideal place for a soak after a long day on the beach. The additional separate shower-room on the first floor is great for a quick refreshing shower.

The kitchen door leads out onto the rear slate terrace where you can sit and enjoy afternoon tea whilst admiring the view over surrounding fields. This place lends itself perfectly to al fresco dining! Whether you holiday with family or a group of friends, create lovely holiday memories at Pentillie.

Veryan is a beautiful village on the Roseland peninsula with all you need for a fabulous holiday. The New Inn is a short stroll away and Pendower and Carne beaches are very close by. As an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Roseland offers stunning countryside and coastline, all of this is right on your doorstep.

Just a short car journey away you will discover Portscatho, one of the most unspoilt seaside villages in Cornwall. Seek out The Hidden Hut overlooking Porthcurnick Beach where you sit side by side on wooden benches and savour the freshest of local produce (booking is essential for feast nights). A little further afield St Mawes is a bustling harbourside town where you can enjoy fine dining or fish and chips straight out of paper whilst sitting on the harbour wall. From here, a 20 minute journey on the passenger ferry takes you over the water to Falmouth for a day out exploring galleries, eateries and a variety of eclectic shops.

The stunning South West Coast Path encompasses the Roseland peninsula and you can pick up the trail at any point heading either east or west to discover secluded coves, dramatic cliffs and crystal clear waters. Perhaps a little history is the order of the day and Caerhays Castle and gardens are worth a visit for a stunning display of spring magnolias and camellias. A day out discovering the iconic biomes of the Eden Project should be on your 'to do' list, or perhaps the tranquility of The Lost Gardens of Heligan appeals. However you spend your holiday time, you are assured of a fabulous getaway at the lovely Pentillie.
