Nestled on the outskirts of the pretty Cornish village of Nancledra, this gorgeous bespoke barn is the ideal 'get away from it all' destination. Woon Summer (Cornish for Summer Dwelling, and what a dwelling this is) is located on the edge of moorland in the grounds of the owners' working farm. This picture-perfect detached property (which is all on one level), will delight either a small family or couple simply wanting that extra bit of space, and there's room for your loyal pup too.

Walk through the sunny porch into the open plan living-room with kitchen and dining areas. Furnished beautifully in the softest pale blues and greys to complement the Cornish landscape and sea, you will instantly feel at home. Comfy sofas surround the wood-burner, creating a wonderful ambience with flames flickering away during cosy nights in. Foodies will love the modern kitchen where seafood feasts and hearty breakfasts can be prepared. Surprisingly light and airy with doors leading out onto the patio, why not sit and take in the dramatic moorland views that await you. Locals tell us that this charming rural location could soon be a designated dark sky area, so if you enjoy star gazing you are truly in for a treat. Leading off from this glorious light and airy room, you'll find your two stylish, very comfortable bedrooms and family shower-room.

Georgia is a small hamlet just over four miles from St Ives. If you are feeling energetic, pull on those boots as the walk into St Ives from Woon Summer is truly breathtaking or head in the opposite direction towards St Just where you'll join the Tinner's Way running along the coast from Cape Cornwall all the way to St Ives. After a day romping over the moors, why not enjoy a drink and let someone else do the cooking. Less than five minutes' drive away is a great locals pub, The Engine.

St Ives' cobbled streets are lined with colourful cottages, independent shops and artists' galleries, taking inspiration from the surrounding waters shimmering turquoise and blue in the magical Cornish sun. Enjoy a stroll down to the harbour along the narrow, cobbled streets or visit the famous Tate St Ives for a taste of Cornish and internationally acclaimed art and culture; with so much to see and experience we are sure you'll never want to leave.

If you do fancy exploring further afield, head west towards Sennen for a spot of surfing (and maybe some fish and chips), then round to the south coast where Porthcurno awaits with the magical open-air Minack Theatre. Further on into Mount's Bay is the picturesque fishing village of Mousehole and Marazion with iconic St Michael's Mount.

After days out and about, you will love returning and relaxing on the patio to the sound of birdsong or in front of the warming wood-burner in our chillier months.

The friendly owners live opposite, and are very happy to welcome you and offer advice if requested but equally happy to leave you to yourselves so you can relax in peace and quiet; their very friendly Jack Russell, Lizzie, may come over to say hello when you arrive, offering a warm welcome of her own.
