The Cow Shed is a thoughtful conversion of a lovely old stone farm building that for generations was home to the farm's herd of dairy cows and calves. Farmed by the same family for generations, Burnow Farm is on the Lizard peninsula and just up the road from the picture-perfect Church Cove made famous by the much-loved BBC series of Poldark.

Reverse level with the stunning open plan living space on the first floor, this stylish semi-detached barn is the perfect base for a holiday exploring this unspoilt part of the county. The beaches of Gunwalloe are only a short drive away with a choice of Church Cove (lifeguarded in high season) and Dollar Cove, which is dog-friendly all year round. Why not make a stop at the Hazelphron Inn on your way to the beach where you will find a warm welcome and good tasty local produce.

Two en suite bedrooms make this gorgeous barn ideal for two couples holidaying together or a family, and with a further cloakroom upstairs there is no queueing!

A beautiful combination of skilled local craftsmen and modern enhancements have magically transformed this functional farm building into an extremely comfortable, stylish and welcoming holiday barn. The Cow Shed is somewhere rather special for a holiday at any time of the year.

With doors opening directly onto a little terrace, the main bedroom is a relaxing retreat on the ground floor with the second bedroom close by, where on request the king-size bed can be made up as two single beds.

To the front of the barn is your private garden and parking so although semi-detached from The Bull Pen (4054) next door, each barn has its own space in which to relax after a day out exploring.

Burnow Farm is a working dairy farm but the owners have ensured that their guests and holiday barns are separated from the day-to-day activities on the farm, however if any of their guests would like to get closer, they would be very happy to give you a tour, you only have to ask.
