KingNanteague Cottage is a spacious one bedroom cottage, ideal for couples, and with a heated swimming pool (shared with the owners and heated by an air source heat pump and available mid-May to mid-September). Standing detached at the edge of the central courtyard, it has a large patio sheltered by fencing to offer privacy, perfect for barbecues, with a big lawn to the side.
The open plan living-room is comfortably furnished and offers everything guests require, with full central heating, a large television, DVD recorder and unlimited WiFi access.
Nanteague Cottage is a real home-from-home with everything provided to make guests comfortable. There are sitting and dining areas and a very well-equipped kitchen-area. Upstairs, the spacious double bedroom has a king-size bed, with views towards the heated swimming pool and fishing lake. It also has plenty of space for the cot if required.
There is an en suite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. An outdoor kennel and run are available for dogs when guests are visiting dog-free attractions, and plenty of spectacular coastal footpaths and beach walks within a few miles.
Nanteague Farm spreads over 130 acres with a beautifully landscaped coarse fishing lake set in the centre, stocked with carp, rudd, perch, roach and bream, and with 13 acres of meadow around the lake for guests to roam, this is an idyllic location.
Sandy surfing beaches at Perranporth, St Agnes and Chapel Porth and the cobbled streets of the Cathedral City of Truro are all within five miles. Clifftop walks, National Trust gardens and the sailing town of Falmouth are also within easy reach. The friendly and welcoming owner is happy to accommodate a trailer and small boat, and well-behaved dogs are welcome (kept on a lead around livestock).
The renowned north coast surfing beaches at Porthtowan and Chapel Porth are just 15 minutes away by car and the miles of sandy beach and grass covered dunes at Perranporth are closer still. A bottle of bubbly awaits guests on arrival at Nanteague Cottage, a lovely start to the holiday and sure to revive jaded travellers!
