Ledge View is a beautifully renovated semi-detached home just steps away from Forelands beach, lined with quirky beach huts, stretches of white sand, rock pools and an acclaimed cafe. The layout on the ground floor is open plan, with double doors opening onto a decked garden with outdoor sofas and a barbecue.
The interior has been finished to a very high standard with a modern kitchen and plenty of seating for family meals, making Ledge View a base for a perfect family holiday. There are three good-sized bedrooms on the first floor beautifully decorated throughout, all with sea glimpses, a family bathroom and an en suite to the main room. There is parking for two vehicles.
Bembridge ‘ledge’ on Forelands beach is a rocky platform that is revealed at low tide, with pockets of sand and rock pools for prawning and crabbing - a wonderful beach for dogs and children alike.
The Beach Hut Cafe, just two minutes away, is a small, rustic al fresco kiosk serving seasonal food, and of course ice creams, in a wonderful setting over looking Bembridge ledge. Also overlooking this beach is the Crab and Lobster pub, specialising in local seafood, with an outdoor seating area situated high up with uninterrupted views over the channel towards France. A fantastic view point to watch the round the island yacht race taking place in May.
To walk to Bembridge Village takes approximately twenty minutes, where there are several cafes, restaurants and boutique shops. The village also has a fantastic fishmonger, butchers and locally grown fruit and vegetable shop with a new cafe above, serving delicious food and cake.
