Set in an idyllic country estate, Trewane Cottage is a detached, 17th Century, beautifully-styled retreat and the ideal place to recharge your batteries. The gorgeous kitchen/breakfast-room will leave you wanting for nothing and the sitting/dining-room with under-floor heating is perfect for out-of-season breaks.

All the bedrooms are luxurious and the bathroom is enormous, ideal for bathing children. Approached down a lane, Trewane Cottage overlooks a stream-fed millpool and the south-facing enclosed garden is a real treat and somewhere you can enjoy the tranquility of this stunning cottage.

The owners live nearby in Trewane Manor; Trewane Barn (2243) and Trewane Mill (751) are close by but your privacy is assured. Please take care with children near the millpond and guests are not permitted to swim in the millpool.

The wide open sandy beaches of Rock and Polzeath are close by and the spectacular coastal walks are really worth exploring. There is enjoyable cycling locally, including the Camel Trail. For those interested in gorgeous food you really are spoilt on this side of the Cornish coast with Nathan Outlaw's restaurants at Rock and down in Port Isaac. For just a local bite, you really cannot beat the pasties at St Kew or a visit to the quite famous St Kew Inn. Further afield the Eden Project is certainly worth a visit as there is something to see all year round.
