Nestled on the edge of Trewan Hall, The Stables is an exceptional holiday cottage.
The Stables has been converted to a very high standard.
The kitchen/dining-area is simply fab!
Both bedrooms are beautifully furnished.
The majestic 17th Century manor of Trewan Hall takes centre stage on the estate.
Although open plan, the kitchen/dining-area sits separate to the sitting-area giving the best of both worlds.
You are sure to enjoy wonderful sociable gatherings in the kitchen/dining-area.
The wrap around windows make this room incredibly light and of course give easy access to the garden.
The spacious sitting-area has ample room for everyone to spread out and relax.
Although with under-floor heating throughout, you cannot beat snuggling up in front of the wood-burner on chillier evenings - and the generous owners provide this amount of wood for your stay!
Sensitively restored, the owners have retained some of the original features including the exposed beams and the 'crinkle crankle' wall.
Bedroom 1 with its king-size double bed has been decorated in beautiful soft, restful colours.
Bedroom 1 benefits from an en suite bathroom.
Bedroom 1 has a modern en suite with a bath and separate shower.
Bedroom 2, which overlooks the garden, can be made up as either a double bed or twin beds - just let us know.
The stylish en suite shower-room for Bedroom 2.
The enclosed garden is great for a barbecue with family and friends.
The gardens and grounds around the estate are simply stunning.
The large lawned area in front of the manor is yours to enjoy - have a picnic, lie out in the sun or enjoy some ball games.
Table-tennis - always a holiday favourite.
The swimming pool is open during the summer, please check with the owners for the specific opening times.
There is a small but well stocked shop on site, opened during the camping season. Outside of these months, you can stock up with essential supplies in the village of St Columb Major.
There may be a few more residents on site than we said!
The lane in front of The Stables leads off to one of the caravan and camping areas.
The north coast is littered with fabulous beaches, Mawgan Porth being one of the the best!
Pop over to the lovely town of Padstow - join a boat trip, amble around the harbour and shops, visit the historic Prideaux Place or grab a bite to eat from an abundance of great restaurants and pubs.
Watergate Bay, home of the Extreme Academy is only a short drive away.
You can have a great day out at the charming village of Port Isaac, of Doc Martin and The Fisherman's Friends fame!

We have been camping here every summer since 1999. So happy to be able to come down to the same place in the winter when crowds are smaller.

The Stables is perfectly situated for a great variety of beaches. The Pool is brilliant, especially having the cover. The beautiful garden is perfect for having games with the family. A great base for the perfect holiday.

Id just like to say thankyou on behalf of the family for such a great holiday. We experienced our worst drive down in 20 years (10hours! When usually it's 5) so to walk in and be blown away by how nice the property and grounds were was amazing. One thing, the photos really don't do it justice, you could get some much better photos than the ones used. Even on the rainy days, we felt so comfortable at home we didn't mind just staying in and relaxing, it really was a fantastic stay, thankyou!...

A high quality and impressive make over from stables to holiday accommodation. Wonderful setting and if you time it right you’ll get the joys of Trewan Hall as well.

We had a lovely few days at the stables, from the moment we arrived we relaxed, we both said wow! as we walked in, stunning accommodation, clean and very well equipped, every little detail seemed to have been thought of, throughly enjoyed walking around the grounds with our dogs, which we had mostly to ourselves, really didn’t want to leave....
