What a little cutie! Picture-perfect and utterly charming, this delightful bolthole for two is set deep in the heart of the quaint Cornish village of Churchtown Gulval. Spot the 12th Century Church and you have arrived!

A very pretty little path (with ten little steps) leads through the enchanting garden brimming with succulents and other subtropical plants, which thrive in this part of Cornwall. Take a moment to enjoy this beautiful garden, before stepping through the stable-door into Little Bambaroo. Brimming with character and style this gorgeous open plan retreat has everything you need for a relaxing stay, with a roaring wood-burning stove to make things super-cosy on those chillier evenings, and a comfy double bed at the far end of the room. You will also find a delightful little dining-area and kitchenette for those who want to cook up a breakfast or a light supper. In the daytime you can sit and dream at the table gazing out the window as you linger over your morning cuppa. A single step takes you into the deceptively spacious shower-room, complete with a large shower cubicle, a must for washing sandy toes and salty hair. Outside the cottage has a glorious south-facing decked area with a table and two chairs perfect for a spot of al fresco dining.

Little Bambaroo is so welcoming you will feel lost in idyllic countryside bliss and may not wish to venture too far. Travelling around this gorgeous part of west Cornwall, the impossibly quaint village of Mousehole and working harbour of Newlyn are most definitely worth a visit. Spend a carefree day mooching around the enchanting little side streets and galleries, before stopping to pick up some local fish from one of the many fish stalls in Newlyn on your way home.

Marazion with its fabulous beach overlooking famous St Michael's Mount is less than 10 minutes drive away, tuck into a cream tea in one of the adorable little cafes this pretty town has to offer.

If you fancy a more elaborate meal (and you are on holiday after all) then the local village pub is literally a hop, skip and a jump away. The Coldstreamer Inn is a delightful pub and just oozes old world charm inside and out, the menu is full of local dishes and with five local real ales and lagers to try, what more could you wish for.

Don't forget to pack your walking boots as there are walks galore from the doorstep of the cottage including the historic St Michael's Way and the South West Coast Path. It's an easy one mile walk to the ever-popular Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens and the very beautiful Trengwainton Gardens and tea room is just over two miles away.

Whether you're staying in the sunny heights of summer or the dramatic depths of winter, Little Bambaroo is a perfect escape for couples with the added reassurance of a friendly owner who lives next door, should you have any questions during your stay, but assurance of privacy if you just want to simply relax.
