Lower St Winnolls is a true Cornish gem dating back 250 years whilst benefiting from all the modern conveniences of 20th Century living including an electric car charging point and superfast broadband. As you drive down to the cottage you will be greeted by uninterrupted views that will draw a smile before you even step out of the car.

Lower St Winnolls has been furnished to the highest standard with unique pieces of furniture complementing the style of the cottage; no detail has been overlooked and you will feel at home from the moment you walk over the threshold. The heart of the cottage will no doubt be the kitchen offering a wonderful space to eat and drink with doors that lead out to the patio, a perfect spot for al fresco dining whilst watching the sun set and the children play freely.

From the sitting-room you can take in the wonderful vista, no matter what the weather, with clear views out to the coast. The wood-burner will be the perfect remedy for those chillier nights, with board games to keep everyone entertained. An added bonus of this cottage has to be the snooker room which will no doubt offer hours of fun for young and old, just remember to duck as the original door frame was made for the height of an average person some 250 years ago.

Sitting to the side of the snooker room there is a single room (up one step) which you walk through to get to the downstairs double en suite bedroom. This room has been styled and furnished to impress also benefitting from a patio door on to the side garden. Without doubt this room will be perfect for the night owls of the family as laughter will be heard from the snooker room even through the two doors that can be shut.

The further two bedrooms can be found on the first floor via the stairs from the sitting-room, these stairs are steep but with a handrail they are easily climbed. The first bedroom you come to is the twin room which is generous in size and offers views out to the side of the house across fields. The beauty of this cottage is that you are not overlooked so the curtains can remain open. Again, as throughout the house, the furnishing fixtures and fittings are all to the highest standard offering that true home-from-home feeling.

The main bedroom boasts an olde worlde charm with wonderful furniture and a unique dressing-table married together with crisp white linens and stylish interiors. Being situated to the front of the house you have spectacular views across to the coast which can be enjoyed from the comfort of your bed with the first cuppa of the day. This room will be bathed in light all day and benefits from a vanity sink.

The garden offers a place to play, relax and barbecue from a perfectly positioned decking area at the rear of the garden to the al fresco patio area in front of the house, both of which benefit from a vista providing an ever changing picture! The gated garden will be enjoyed by one and all but please keep very young children under a watchful eye because there are ledges and slopes that could become a hazard for those little adventurers on holiday!

Lower St Winnolls is perfectly positioned to enjoy the miles of coast path that can be reached from your front door. A good place to start has to be Rame Head, from here the walk is yours to plan but we recommend Crafthole as a pit stop or maybe the clifftop walk above the uncrowded beaches of Whitsand. Whitsand Bay runs from Rame Head to Portwrinkle characterised by sheer high cliffs, dramatic scenery and long stretches of sandy beaches often uncrowded.

The twinned villages of Kingsand and Cawsand were once traditional fishing villages that are steeped in history and only a short drive away. From Kingsand you can walk along the coast towards Mount Edgcumbe offering views across the Sound to Plymouth. It is also possible to catch the Cremyll ferry and land in Devon to explore the historic Royal William Yard with boutiques and restaurants to suit all, another day out for all the family even the hound!

This wonderful cottage is steeped in history, offers character throughout and is positioned to not only enjoy the wonders of Cornwall and the coast but also Devon and numerous days out by foot or four wheels - you really will be spoilt for choice.
