Be it the games barn with table-tennis, the fabulous sea views or beautifully maintained gardens that attract you, or maybe it will be the comfortable sitting and dining areas with roaring wood-burner, exceptional cooking facilities or the light and airy bedrooms all with sea views, this cottage really has it all.
The ground floor open plan kitchen/dining area has views across the gardens to the sea. Light floods into the dining-area where the huge dining-table, placed in front of the open fire, is the focal point. Listen to music from the Bose sound system, cook a celebration meal on the Aga (extra cooking facilities are available), then relax in comfort for a familial gathering. Finish with a coffee from the Nespresso machine, like I say you will want for nothing.
The sitting-room is stylish and comfortable with a TV, DVD player, wood-burner and piano, the perfect place to round of an evening with friends and family.
The study gives anyone 'working from home' the peace and quiet needed whilst the rest of the party enjoy the gardens. Make the most of al fresco living relaxing on a sunbed or fire up the barbecue and eat at the large teak garden table whilst taking in view of the crashing Atlantic.
Indoors, the bedrooms are on the first floor, beautifully styled with luxury linens and furnishings. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and overlooks the garden to the sea. One of the twin bedrooms also has the same sea view and the second double and twin room look out over gardens to the side of the house. The family bathroom boasts a large free-standing bath, double wash-basins, a double shower and WC. The shower-room is as well appointed as the bathroom, with a large shower, wash-basin and WC.
A separate utility-room on the ground floor doubles as a boot-room, in here you have a Belfast sink, washing machine and a tumble-drier. There is also a WC and wash-basin at this level.
Everyone has been catered for, bring your four-legged friend (two are welcome), babies (the equipment required is provided) and teenagers…they can enjoy the games barn and a game of table tennis before heading down to Rinsey cove for a swim or a surf. All in all, you will have a family holiday of a lifetime at Welloe Rock.
