Beautifully restored Bower Cottage is all about luxury, comfort, and style from the moment you pull up in your car. Located down a little lane, yet still in the heart of laid-back St Agnes, this quintessential cottage is a fabulous retreat for six and is close to all the hot spots the north coast has to offer. Step into this dreamy sanctuary and instantly relax amongst the beautiful furnishings and exquisite decor. The living space is made for lounging and relaxing. A roaring wood-burner means that you will always be warm and toasty. Snuggle up on the super-comfy sofa and indulge in your favourite movies. The dining-table and chairs sit just off the sitting-room in another beautiful room, nestled in the alcove there is an electric wood-burner which adds warmth and atmosphere for those long leisurely intimate suppers.

The fabulous kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook up a feast fit for kings. High vaulted ceilings create a feeling of space. Glass doors lead out onto the patio and can be opened wide on balmy summer nights if you fancy a spot of al fresco dining in the sunshine, why not go Italian and cook tasty pizzas in the Alpha outdoor pizza oven. The private garden space is laid to lawn, perfect for children to play on. Sink into the rattan sofas with squishy cushions and enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail or two.

If an active holiday is planned with your family, you not only have ample places to store your surf boards and bikes but also a very nifty outside 'hot' shower, just the job for washing sandy toes. A super sleek downstairs shower-room adds to the ease if there are lots of you all returning home at the same time, hopefully avoiding those queues for the showers.

Upstairs you will find three stunning bedrooms that would not look out of place in a boutique hotel. The main bedroom has a very tropical palm print wallpaper which also features in the en suite shower-room. A true tropical holiday vibe is very apparent here!

Bedroom two is blissfully calm in grey and cream hues and also has an en suite shower-room tucked under the eaves.

Take three steps up into heavenly bedroom number three, which also overlooks the garden. This comfy bed can be either a super-king should a couple wish to stay or a twin which is perfect for our younger guests. We especially adore the pendant light which reminds us of the fisherman's lobster pots down in the cove.

The family bathroom is also located on this floor and oozes indulgence. The lovely deep bath is perfect for soaking in and daydreaming after a long day exploring Cornwall.

St Agnes is rapidly becoming a very fashionable town full of quirky shops, and very cool places to eat and drink. You can dress up or down and head to many of the wonderful bistros and bars this vibrant town has to offer. We especially adore Schooners (near the cove), The Tap House at the top of Quay Road, or Taste in the high street. If you fancy a more laid-back evening then try Genki, on your way to the cove. Bijou, but with lots of outside space, you won't be disappointed, and they do say that 'good things come in small packages'.

Trevaunance Cove is a lovely beach to spend the day at and is within walking distance, so you can pack up those rucksacks and leave the car behind.

Further along the coast you will find Portreath, a charming fishing port with a crystal-clear large bay. The sandy beach is perfect for making sandcastles and exploring the hidden rockpools. As the sun starts to set head up towards the harbour front and enjoy a fish and chip supper in one of the friendly cafes.

For those wishing to explore further afield, the Eden Project, the popular seaside resort of St Ives, the shopping city of Truro and the maritime town of Falmouth all make an easy day excursion and are just a short drive away.

Bower Cottage is a perfect family holiday home, but also works exceedingly well for couples seeking a romantic hideaway.
