Ideally positioned between Bonchurch and Ventnor this apartment is in a fabulous location on Madeira Road within walking distance of the beach and Ventnor town.
The apartment has two spacious bedrooms, a twin and an en suite. There is an additional reception room with a sofa and access to the seaward-facing balcony; with table and chairs this is an ideal place for your morning coffee with the most wonderful view, we promise! This property is ideal for families with younger children as there is a cot, stair-gate and high chair generously provided by the owners, making it well-equipped for your younger ones. The fully-equipped kitchen has dining seating for four, for family meals and there is also soft seating in the sitting-room with that simply amazing view!
There is private parking for one vehicle at the rear of the apartment.
Ventnor has developed a reputation as the ‘place to eat’ on the Island. The choice and variety of cuisine is superb, with Canteena and The Bistro among the many eating places to choose from. There is also a traditional family-friendly pub, The Spyglass, situated on the seafront with an amazing outdoor seating area directly over the sea. Ventnor’s red shingle and golden sand beach has vintage beach huts that once had wheels, which transported the gentry down to the sea. The cascade road winds its way around a rocky waterfall to arrive on the seafront where there is a bandstand with 360 degree views from its lofty viewing platform. Inside the Haven is a short pier used by local fishermen; they sell fresh fish and there is a side window serving fish and chips, holiday heaven! Bonchurch is a short distance in the other direction; a charming village on the sea with a wonderful pub called The Bonchurch Inn, specialising in Italian cuisine. Ventnor allegedly has the most hours of sunshine in the UK, what is not to love!
