Inside you will be delighted with the space and comfort of this lovely property. Oak and slate flooring runs throughout; the sitting-area with its exposed beams and high ceilings has a large soft sofa flanking a cosy wood-burner.
The dining-area faces French windows opening onto the garden. There is a fully equipped contemporary kitchen-area and two beautifully furnished bedrooms, both of which have en suites – one with a walk-in shower, the other with a bath and a separate rainfall shower.
Nestled in the stunning Walkham valley within Dartmoor National Park, Walkham, Dittisham (3255) and Huckworthy (3256) are ideally located to explore this glorious part of Devon.
Down a quiet narrow lane edged with ancient stone walls and lichen-covered trees, Walkham Valley Cottages offer a really lovely retreat. The owners, who run a smallholding from the main farmhouse, have gone all out to provide the most gorgeous and stylish holiday cottages. The breathtaking beauty of Dartmoor is all around you. So whatever your preference, sitting back in the garden with a glass of wine in hand and relaxing, off-road cycling, trekking on horseback across the moors, walking, golfing or fishing, all is close by.
