With only one immediate neighbour, this delightfully peaceful property has a large enclosed level garden, storage for bikes/watersports gear, and parking for a boat trailer; ideal with Stithians Lake, the spectacular Helford River and several renowned surfing beaches within an easy drive.
The spacious living-room has a wood-burner and patio doors to the garden. Also with patio doors (all downstairs entrances have wheelchair access) are two generous en suite bedrooms, one including a wet-room shower as well as a bath (a perching stool is available for use). Wooden stairs lead to a third en suite bedroom.
The historic maritime town of Falmouth has a plethora of individual shops, cafes and restaurants to tempt. Majestic Pendennis Castle, an English Heritage property built by Henry VIII looks down over the Carrick Roads and is well worth a visit. A boat trip from either the Price of Wales Pier or Custom House Quay will take you across to Flushing or St Mawes, up the Helford River or perhaps to Truro, Cornwall's only city, what a great way to spend a few hours.
The popular gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan are also within easy reach as are many south coast beaches for those must have ice creams.
