What a super find, we really enjoyed our short stay at the stables, a very comfy bed, lovely quality linens and a super walk in shower. Easy access to Battle where the beautiful Abbey is worth a visit, also Hastings old town was a lovely surprise with some great places to eat and a visit to Rye is a must. The village nearby is pretty and with a little shop and a pub, what more do you need, oh yes the wood burner was a delight on a very cold evening, Thank you....

Our party of 4 adults and two dogs loved Castlemans Stables West. A peaceful location on a working farm (with livestock) and a short walk to village pub and shop. The cottage was very well-equipped and beds and sofas were very comfortable. We particularly liked the generous welcome hamper and the decking with patio table and chairs and BBQ....
