This exceptional semi-detached cottage is located in a wonderful corner of south Devon near Agatha Christie's former home Greenway (now a National Trust treasure) with beautiful walks down to the River Dart and Torbay. Ideal for that romantic retreat or a grown-up haven for a break with friends.

This super cottage has been thoughtfully furnished creating a lovely retreat offering a peaceful and stylish escape - perfect to return to after days out exploring this glorious area. In winter you can snuggle up around the wood-burner and in warmer months there are three sheltered patio terrace areas to relax and unwind. Agatha Cottage has calming colour schemes and luxury fittings, including toasty under-floor heating.

Situated in the charming village of Galmpton, located between Torbay and the River Dart, it is just a five minute drive into Brixham with its beautiful harbour, famous fish market and fish restaurants. Alternatively, take a short ferry ride to Dartmouth (or go by steam train from nearby Churston Station!).

The villages of Dittisham and Stoke Gabriel are also a must! Indeed there is so much to explore in the vicinity of Agatha Cottage; a walker's paradise with river and coastal walks to hand.

Agatha Cottage is the perfect combination of style, luxury and location; making this fabulous cottage perfect for those seeking peace and tranquility combined with stunning countryside and oodles of adventure on your doorstep.

You can walk down to Greenway House and visit Agatha Christie's home and either eat in the cafe or cross to Dittisham by romantic boat to either the Anchorstone cafe (David Dimbleby's favourite cafe!) or The Ferry Boat Inn. Or you can stroll to The Manor Inn, the popular local pub, a few minutes' walk into Galmpton.

For sun and sand visit nearby Broadsands Beach (with its impressive beach cafe) or the more secluded Elberry Cove. For sun lovers, another favourite day out is Blackpool Sands just outside of Dartmouth. Most beaches have kayaking or paddle boarding equipment to hire.

Generally the area boasts the very best in amusement and attraction, complemented by some extremely delectable and award-winning pubs, cafes and restaurants. For seafood lovers, there is such choice from traditional fish and chips such as Mitch Tonks' Rockfish restaurants (Brixham and Dartmouth), Simply Fish, Shoals, the Anchorstone Cafe and The Seahorse.

Whichever direction you choose to head in, you will be truly spoilt. This superbly stylish cottage will be a luxury holiday retreat you'll find yourself returning to year after year.
