KingWith a beautiful sandy beach only two minutes' walk down the hill and spectacular sea views from the large picture windows in the sitting-room, Porthcurnick Studio is a surprisingly spacious little holiday home perfect for a summer stay or spring short break.
Open plan living and high ceilings bring light into this welcoming single-storey cottage and with a king-size bed and double shower cubicle, this is a very comfortable property for two.
Stroll down the hill to the beach or further on to the delightful fishing village of Portscatho, where you can wander the lanes visiting galleries and gift shops and pop into the pub or one of the cafes to sample some local fare.
Babes in arms up to the age of six months are welcomed at Porthcurnick Studio.
It would be hard to beat the location of this little treasure sitting just above the safe sandy beach of Porthcurnick and its now famous The Hidden Hut cafe. The Rosevine Hotel is 200 yards further up the lane from the beach, and restaurant diners are able to use the swimming pool at certain times; for that special night out there is the Driftwood Hotel with its Michelin-starred restaurant.
This is a great base from which to explore other nearby villages including St Mawes as well as The Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Eden Project, Portloe and Charlestown.
The Nare Hotel (at Carne beach) with their Carne Bay Spa is open to non-residents and special packages are available for using the hotel's fabulous facilities and enjoying a treatment in the spa.
For larger groups of friends and family why not book Porthcurnick Lodge (3149) next door as well, as the house accommodates up to six guests.
