Miranda Cottage is a quintessential Cornish thatched cottage in the heart of the village of St Martin, a short distance from the famous sailing waters of the Helford River.

Beautifully presented and full of charm and character, this welcoming cottage features exposed stonework, gothic-style windows and a fabulous granite inglenook fireplace. The handcrafted kitchen includes a traditional Aga to cook on along with a four ring electric hob, electric oven and a combi microwave oven for flexibility. Just next door is the dining-area, a wonderful space to dine with family and friends and chat about the adventures of the day. Relax in the spacious sitting-room after a day out exploring this beautiful area and enjoy the views over the garden and rolling countryside beyond.

Three spacious bedrooms can sleep up to six guests and with three bath/shower rooms to choose from, you will find that there is no need to join a queue in the morning! Wonderfully charming and built by local craftsmen, this lovely cottage is the perfect holiday home for a family, couple or group of friends.

Spend your days walking around the Helford or exploring the South West Coast Path on the Lizard peninsula, visit craggy coves and friendly pubs to enjoy the locally-sourced produce found throughout this area. And when you return at the end of a busy day, pleasantly weary from all that fresh Cornish air, simply fall into bed and climb under those fresh cotton sheets to enjoy a good night's sleep before waking the next day and doing it all again.

Eating out options nearby include The Ship Inn two miles away in Mawgan, and travelling a bit further either down to Helford or onto the Lizard, you will find a selection of eateries to choose from depending on whether you want a cream tea, a pasty or perhaps some locally-caught seafood.

The charming town of Helston, home to the famous Furry Dance, is around eight miles away where you will find the major supermarkets as well as a chemists and a good selection of local shops, plus there are some lovely village stores selling locally-grown produce closer to the cottage in the villages of Mawgan, Gweek and Mullion.
