The location of this traditional Cornish house can only be described as fabulous. Perfectly situated with an uninterrupted outlook over Gerrans Bay, it lies in the heart of the small unspoilt coastal village of Portscatho within easy walking distance of all facilities including the pub, general store, cafe, Post Office, galleries and beach.

The house is set back from the road skirting the harbour and is separated from the pavement by a low wall and gate. The front garden has a low raised terrace, with room for a table and chairs. The outside of the house has been sensitively restored in the original style; however, the interior has been comprehensively updated and stylishly decorated throughout and furnished by two young London designers.

This double fronted house has two sitting-rooms, one on each side of the hall, both with window seats and views of the sea and harbour; slate and timber floors can be found throughout and this lovely property retains much of the original character, such as the odd step up and down, alongside many modern appliances and equipment.

The local beach at Portscatho is safe for swimmers of all ages and this location gives guests easy access to the coastal path with scenic walks in all directions. If you prefer to simply wander a bit closer to home, you will find plenty to explore right on your doorstep.
