This impressive, recently-built eco-house is situated in a commanding elevated position on one of St Mawes' most exclusive roads. Enjoying panoramic sea views over the whole of Falmouth Bay and with shared access to a private beach, Carn Tommen is a truly unique and special place to stay.

The first floor open plan living/kitchen/dining-room is simply stunning and provides spacious open plan living with contemporary furnishings. Enjoy breathtaking views over Falmouth Bay and watch the boats coming and going from the comfort of the sofa in winter or fold back the glass doors on to the sun-deck to create an indoor/outdoor living space in summer.

The coastal path takes you past St Mawes castle and brings you to the village where there are some outstanding local restaurants and pubs offering delicious locally-sourced food including the famous Hotel Tresanton. In the opposite direction the National Trust coastal path begins a few yards from the house and takes you on a delightful waterside walk to St Just in Roseland.

Babies under 6 months old are welcome.

The main bedroom on the second floor, with spectacular views, is truly special and being tucked away from the other three bedrooms on the ground floor offers a good degree of privacy. You will also find a further sitting-room on the ground floor with a great selection of toys and games; a perfect family room for the children to escape to. French windows open out onto a paved terrace with fabulous views out to sea.

To the side of the property there is a pedestrian only right of way providing a secondary access to a house at the rear of Carn Tommen. Due to the layout of the terraces and associated steep drops this property is unsuitable for very young children, and children must be supervised at all times. Carn Tommen accommodates a maximum of eight guests plus a young baby (under six months old). Take care on the open-tread stairs to the first and second floor. *A cot is not provided, bring your own travel cot.
