French doors from the sitting-room open onto the private terrace, where you can while away the hours simply watching the varying colours and shapes of the sea and sky as the seabirds fly by. There is a charming wood-burner for cosy nights in and an ingenious coffee/supper table for relaxed TV dining or laptop browsing.
The king-size bedroom has comfortable tub chairs to take in the morning view. This room has an east and a west facing window enabling you to enjoy the dramatic colour palettes of both sunrises and sunsets experienced on The Lizard. The main bedroom gives access to the single bedroom and they share the en suite shower-room with similarly spectacular views and is ideal for a child or adult who is happy to be close by.
Frog Rock Cottage is accessed by a gated, private driveway, fringed for privacy with Cornish hedge and this spectacular location is shared only with two other residences. Frog Rock Cottage is let with a private car parking space, own inner driveway and its own garden to ensure peace and quiet during your time on The Lizard. It may be less suited for those with mobility issues due to the steps of varying depth throughout the ground fllor and to access the garden, and the narrow staircase accessing the bedrooms on the first floor.
The garden offers unrivalled views of the valley, Pentreath surf, Kynance Cove and the sunsets which are spectacular. The new owners live on site with their friendly cat (who may come and say hello). They are committed to offering you a 'home-from-home' experience with all the privacy, tranquility and comfort that Kynance Bay House is renowned for, however they are at hand if you have any issues during your stay.
With a choice of cafes and shops to visit around the village green and wonderful coastal path walks on the doorstep, you can choose to be as active or as inactive as required, and when you need to re-charge the batteries why not visit one of the local pubs or eateries in the village for a warm welcome.
A walk around Lizard Point, on Cornwall's south coast, at any time of the year is a great way to experience some of the most diverse and interesting examples of British birdlife or the colony of grey seals who live at Lizard point, coupled with the chance to find rare plants and enjoy a cream tea to finish - what could be better?
