At low tide walk across the famous stepping stones across the creek connecting one side of the village with the other.

Wander through the streets of fashionable Fowey at the mouth of the river with its trendy shops and galleries and a whole host of places to eat and drink.
The south coast has an abundance of sheltered coves and bays waiting to be discovered.

We had a wonderful stay in Tanglewood. The garden around the cottage and views across the river were lovely. It was a pretty walk to the shop and pub in Lerryn, especially when the tide was low as you could use the stepping stones to cross the river into the village. The cottage was very well equipped with comfy beds. It was very peaceful and lovely to go back to after a day out exploring. ...

Tanglewood is a beautifully presented archetypal Cornish cottage occupying a delightful situation overlooking the quaint village of Lerryn. I would definitely recommend staying here although only one double bed, no en suite and no facilities to hang clothes in the main bedroom might be a drawback for some....
