Crab Apple Cottage at Daisyland Farm - with a large enclosed garden and open views over the field to the woodland beyond.
The sitting-room has a wood-burning stove and deep comfy sofas to curl up on.
Two sets of doors open onto this wide paved terrace and the fully enclosed garden. The post and rail fencing also has rabbit proof wire and so is as secure as is reasonably possible.
The kitchen/dining-room is really spacious, with the front door opening to the farmstead.
The two and a half acre arboretum is the most beautiful and peaceful place to explore, sit with a book or have a picnic lunch.
Stairs lead from the sitting-room to the first floor of the cottage. There is also a door directly out onto the patio.
The kitchen is a delightful sociable space to cook in, with the farmhouse table in the other half of the room.
The sparkling worktop will inspire you to cook, but there is also a footpath through woodland directly to the friendly local pub.
Another view of the sitting-room. This is a sunny dual-aspect room but so cosy for a restful stay at any time of the year.
The gorgeous cottage in a fabulous setting.
The main bedroom has a king-size bed and its own en suite shower-room. High ceilings and a large window make this room lovely and light and airy.
You can sit in bed with your morning cup of tea and look out over the meadow. You are quite likely to see deer grazing in the evening or early in the morning.
The two bedrooms are at opposite ends of the corridor.
This is the en suite shower-room for the master bedroom. The wonderful shower has a rainfall shower head as well as a conventional one.
The second bedroom has views out over the 2.5 acre arboretum which is filled with unique tree species.
The bathroom next to the twin bedroom has a bath as well as a fitted shower.
The second bedroom set up as a super-king bed.
What a fabulous countryside setting these friendly neighbours have to roam and enjoy.
The garden is fenced to reassure parents with young children and guests who wish to being their dog with them.
A perfect place to enjoy the sunshine, and get immersed in your favourite book.
The outside space is perfect for all the family.
Newly installed EV charger for extra convenience.
Home produced eggs from the special breed chickens are available for guests to buy.
Guests can treat themselves to a lovely selection of home produce from the smallholding.
The very lovely Beer beach.
Lyme Regis beach is a great place for a day out.
Pay a visit to the peaceful Otter Estuary Nature Reserve.
Killerton House and Gardens are well worth a visit.

First class cottage, would highly recommend , finishing touches, cleanliness and attention to detail made our stay all the better this is all down to the owners make you feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Cottage was nicely tucked out of the way, so very private and nicely secluded but easy access to the coast, local towns and points of interest. We will definitely be returning....

We would highly recommend your stay at Crab apple cottage. So peaceful and relaxing location, and very easey to commute from too all areas of Devon Dorset Somerset and Cornwall.

We really can’t recommend this place enough!! From the comfy beds and sofas to the huge garden for the dogs to run around. Being in the middle of nowhere was just what we wanted to destress and chill out doing jigsaws and exploring the countryside. Loved the apple juice and seeing them pressing it was lovely. The tv had all the smart apps etc so we watched our favourite shows plus an enormous range of dvd’s to watch plus books and games. Little things that made a difference……gates to stop the doggies going where they shouldn’t in the house, dog bowls and a mat plus in a cupboard long lines and their own towels!! Ice cubes made for us and a welcome pack of milk, bread, butter, jam and juice!! Have booked for next year already ...
