This stunning family-sized holiday home with private hot tub, large enclosed garden and wonderful stocked fishing lake is in east Devon, a short and easy drive from the World Heritage Jurassic Coast as it stretches along the coast to Lyme Regis in Dorset and beyond.

Set over three floors with French doors and balconies to take in the countryside views over the other fishing lakes on site, semi-detached Lakeside House offers fabulous flexible accommodation. There are as many treats inside as out! A large sitting/dining-room opens onto the patio, there is a superb kitchen with breakfast-bar, four spacious bedrooms including the en suite bedroom with king-size bed, two double rooms and a twin bedroom to choose from; the en suite shower-room and family bathroom both have a walk-in shower, and up on the top floor there is a wonderful play-room with an additional TV, DVDs, games console and other games for children to enjoy.

Guests at Lakeside House and Lakeview House have sole use of a 2.5 acre carp fishing lake – home to approximately 200 carp, between 15lb and 30lbs, its also a lovely place just to picnic by and to sit with a book. The only time this lake is out of action is when the fish are spawning. The usual rules for fishing apply. Book together with Lakeview House (4074) for a wonderful multi-generational family holiday.

East Devon is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which includes the Jurassic Coast and the Blackdown Hills. Visiting the chain of little seaside towns and fishing villages all along the coast and into Dorset is a delight, with a choice of sandy and pebbled beaches. Inland you can roam across Woodbury Common on foot or on bikes and the Blackdown Hills are criss-crossed with footpaths and bridleways.

For a taste of culture you can visit the Cathedral City of Exeter which bustles with cafes, restaurants and shops, as well as the historic cathedral which has Roman walls and a quay to stroll along beside the River Exe.

As if all these facilities were not enough, the owners also provide a Tassimo Happy Coffee machine and an electric mini-oven providing extra cooking facilities, and a full range of baby-friendly equipment over and above a travel cot, high chair and stair-gate. You will have use of bouncy chairs, play mats, a food blender, bottle warmer, steriliser, toilet seat and step, dining-room booster seat, bed guards and even a pushchair. All you need to pack are your suitcases and yourselves!

You can order up a takeaway and the owners will deliver to your doorstep. Everything is planned to give you the best and most relaxing stay possible whether you are a family of different ages or a group of friends.
