If you're looking for a taste of village life, then this enchanting end of terrace cottage in pretty St Teath, close to the north Cornish coastline, is just the answer. Within walking distance of the village square with its iconic clock tower, church, pub and tea-room, Ruth's Cottage has been lovingly restored in a style that brings the cottage bang into the 21st Century whilst retaining the original charm and character, with the odd spot of luxury thrown in for good measure.

It has a little sunny back garden which is the perfect spot for an evening barbecue reflecting on your days out exploring nearby Port Isaac, Polzeath and Wadebridge, and a toasty wood-burner in the sitting-room, ideal for those of out-of-season breaks.

Throughout the ground floor, the original slate floors complement the soft colour scheme. The dining-room doubles up as a second sitting-room with a large state of the art 4K TV, ideal for the younger members to enjoy some holiday viewing or playing games.

The cottage kitchen with its bespoke cupboards, Belfast sink, stainless steel work surface and gorgeous crockery will make preparing meals a delight and the stylish downstairs shower-room is a real treat. Upstairs are three pretty bedrooms; the main with the most fabulous of en suite bathrooms within which is a luxurious copper bath, and the Philips Hue lighting system, which allows you to create different moods and feelings within the cottage. The talented owner painted the artwork adorning the walls in the cottage; it's all of the local area and so sure to inspire you to seek out the destinations on your days out.

The fishing village of Port Isaac is always a winner with its charming harbour, shops and galleries and an abundance of great places to eat and drink. You may wander along the coastal footpath with breathtaking views around every corner, or for contrasting scenery take to the wide open space of Bodmin Moor. Grab your bucket and spades, surfboards and wetsuits and head off to the golden sandy beaches of Polzeath and Daymer Bay - or for activities on two wheels, hire a bike in Wadebridge and take to the Camel Trail.

Should you bring your own bikes and surfboards there's a garage for you to store them in.

This is a great place for a holiday and once smitten, you are sure to return.
