A warm Isle of Wight welcome awaits you at Blackberries a pretty coastal cottage which offers a peaceful escape for families, small groups or couples alike in the delightful sailing village of Seaview. Beautifully furnished throughout, extended and refurbished in 2023 by its lovely owners this perfect holiday home is located on a quiet residential road, ideally located just a short walk to the heart of the village, local community shop and Lily's Cafe for your coffee and croissant, what more could you need!

The comfortable sitting/dining-room is on the ground floor with plenty of space to sit back and relax. After a day of exploring the Island, you will appreciate heading back to Blackberries with some local produce to cook up the perfect feast in the modern kitchen complete with utility-room. Walking through from the utility is the ground floor shower-room - just the spot to wash sandy toes.

There are doors leading out from the dining-room to the garden, ideal on those warmer days to let the fresh sea air fill the house. The sunny rear garden is enclosed and can also be reached by a side gate, which is perfect for guests bringing bikes. After long beach-filled days enjoy a leisurely barbecue as the sun sets, or on cooler evenings cosy up by the fire with a glass of something special.

The stylish and thoughtfully furnished bedrooms are all located on the first floor with spacious king-size double bedroom overlooking the front of the property, the twin and double bedrooms having views of the rear garden.

Seaview offers several places to dine out, which are a short stroll away from Blackberries. Book a meal out at The Old Fort which is situated on the Seaview esplanade, offering indoor and outdoor seating with stunning views across the Solent. The real treasures of the Island are the beautiful surrounding beaches, and Blackberries situates you within walking distance of the equally stunning Seaview and Seagrove Bays. If you fancy a slightly longer walk along the water's edge to idyllic Priory Bay, the neighbouring bay to Seagrove Bay, it's well worth it. Boasting a long stretch of white sand and shallow clear waters to enjoy swimming in.

Alternatively head to the west side of the Island with your four-legged friend and visit Compton Bay. Take advantage of this dog-friendly beach which offers fantastic clifftop walking trails through to Freshwater Bay. Compton Bay is famous for its surfing waves, so why not give it a go! There are coastal walks with a great choice of beach cafes or pubs to refresh at along the way. The scenery on this side of the Island is breathtaking with plenty of beaches to explore you will find something new every day.
