The walled and fenced cottage garden provides a safe enclosure for pets and children. This truly comfortable cottage has a cosy wood-burning stove in the sitting-room and a second ornamental one in the dining-room. Upstairs, the double bedroom boasts a brass bed with very high quality bed linens and the second bedroom has the flexibility to be set up as a single (with one bed removed) a double, or a twin to suit guests.

Lying within the warm-coloured hamstone village, there is an abundance of historical sites to visit such as Montacute, Lytes Cary, the Iron Age and Roman Hill Fort of Ham Hill – a geological site and a Scheduled Ancient Monument – the Roman city of Bath, the medieval city of Wells and the famous Glastonbury Tor. For the garden enthusiast, the Manor Gardens on your doorstep fit the bill but for visits out and about, there are the monastic Forde Abbey, East Lambrook and Tintinhull Garden.
