Situated in the heart of the countryside, yet only four miles from the north Cornish coastline, this single-storey, semi-detached barn conversion provides the ultimate luxury holiday experience for families, friends and couples looking for the perfect blend of rural ramblings and coastal capers.

Converted and furnished with no expense spared, The Coach House offers stylish accommodation along with a private, enclosed garden which will delight young and old alike and any four-legged friends in tow.

Set on the edge of the grounds of Trewan Hall, with the stunning 17th Century manor house taking centre stage, there are 36 acres of beautiful gardens, meadows and woodlands to discover and miles of countryside footpaths that lead right from your doorstep.

For the majority of the year, you only share this rural haven with the adjacent The Stables (3837) and the owners, who live elsewhere on the estate.

From mid-May to mid-September the estate opens its gates to touring caravans and campers. The estate has two areas for pitches, one closer to the cottages with vehicle access passing a short distance in front of the cottages and the other a distance away. Even with the campers, outside of the school holidays the site remains peaceful and tranquil and during the holidays the site comes alive with activity and family fun which should delight those members of your party keen to join in and make holiday friendships.

From the minute you step inside this special cottage, you will instantly relax. The impressive kitchen/dining area is the heart of The Coach House and has fabulous floor to ceiling glass doors letting in oodles of light. The sitting-area provides the ultimate place to relax, with comfy sofas and a modern wood-burner making this a perfect retreat whatever the weather.

Leading off from the living-room are the two beautifully presented bedrooms, the first with a super comfy king-size double and stylish en suite shower-room, and the second with a 'zip and link' double which can also be set up as twin beds offering complete flexibility. For those for whom a holiday provides the chance to have a good soak in the bath, there is a gorgeous family bathroom completing the accommodation.

Within the grounds there is plenty to keep you amused. Why not challenge each other to a game of pool, table football or table-tennis, or for some holiday reading you must make use of the library. The swimming pool is open during the height of the season, please check with the owners for specific opening times, when there is also an entertainment programme on offer in the Theatre Barn. However, all these facilities are set well away from The Coach House so if you don't want to get involved they won't disturb you.

Need even more excitement, then pack up a picnic and plan those days out to Padstow, Wadebridge and the world renowned Eden Project. The coastline is littered with great beaches that will suit every member of the family and adrenalin junkies will get their fix at Watergate Bay's Extreme Academy, learning to kitesurf, bodyboard, wave ski or traction kite.

If all this sounds too much like hard work, grab a bite to eat at the Beach Cafe and sit back and relax and let the others show you how it is done! If you are a foodie connoisseur you are in foodie heaven with an abundance of terrific places to eat and drink and more celebrity chefs than you can wave a stick at.

For those who enjoy walking, the coastal path winds along stunning headlands and through breath-taking coves and for real family fun head off to Newquay Zoo and Camel Creek Adventure Park.
