This wonderful holiday home sits only two miles from picture perfect Port Isaac and all that the stunning north Cornwall coast has to offer. Set amidst a two acre wildlife haven where peace and tranquility abound; it really does offer the best of both worlds.

Lovingly renovated and furnished with flair, Pottery Cottage is a wonderful fusion of contemporary style and country charm with granite columns, slate floors and exposed beams.

The large patio doors lead out to the gorgeous, Mediterranean-style, terraced gardens - the perfect spot to linger over lunch, enjoy a good holiday read or simply take time to unwind and relax on the loungers; why not, you are on holiday!

The bedrooms lead off from either side of the open plan living-room, ideal for those who want a little privacy and both have the luxury of en suite facilities.

The friendly and welcoming owners are on hand to provide help and advice, but will leave you to enjoy your holiday in peace. They also run the St Kew Pottery within the grounds, and you are more than welcome to visit the workshop and gallery, and perhaps throw the odd pot or two.

Pottery Cottage is one of two, detached holiday cottages at Hale, an idyllic peaceful haven where you can truly escape the humdrum of everyday life.

An electric vehicle charging point is provided. Please bring a three pin type one lead or commando lead if you wish to use this facility. The unit is a slow charge so it's mainly suitable for overnight use.

This part of Cornwall has so much to offer and one visit will simply not be enough.

The charming fishing village of Port Isaac, where pretty pastel cottages line the winding streets, is only a short drive away. Home of the BBC's Doc Martin, restaurants run by Michelin starred chef, Nathan Outlaw, and the fabulous Fisherman's Friends- who you might catch singing live on the Platt in the village, is a short drive away. For a small village, there's a lot going on!

Take to the coastal footpath to marvel at breathtaking vistas around every corner, and if you want to enjoy a day on the beach, the surfer's choice of Polzeath and family favourite at Daymer Bay are simply stunning.

Take the foot ferry across from Rock to Padstow for a day browsing the trendy boutiques and galleries, or sample local produce at one of the many places to eat and drink - including those owned by celebrity chefs Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth. This area really is 'foodie' heaven, and you are spoilt for choice. The local pub at St Kew is famous for its Cornish hospitality and good food and at St Endellion, home to world renowned music festivals, the Farm Shop is popular with both locals and visitors alike.

From the vibrant town of Wadebridge, you can hire bicycles and head off along the Camel Trail, taking you in one direction to Padstow, and Bodmin Moor in the other - it's a great day out for all the family. For something a little gentler, a stroll around the historic house and gardens of Pencarrow or Lanhydrock will not disappoint.
