If you were looking for cottages like South Priddacombe Cottage, how about trying these:

South Priddacombe, surrounded by 80 acres of farmland, is on Bodmin Moor yet only a half-hour drive from the north coast. Totally restored 20 years ago, the Owners won an award from RIBA and the Cornish Preservation Society. Approached by a mile long farm track across the moor, the cottage dates back to the early 1700s and has Delabole slate floors, deep inglenook fireplaces, low beams and lintels (watch your head) and lots of steps up and down. The dining-room has a warming wood-burner in the fireplace, a lovely old cherry wood dining-table and a large oak dresser. The cosy sitting-room has another wood-burner, the galley-style kitchen has slate worktops and sink, and there is a large cloakroom/storage-area just right for wet suits, boogie boards and wellies.
