The Hayloft is a fabulous studio style retreat, a lovely barn conversion that includes a sauna and wet room on the ground floor.
The open plan first floor has plenty of light and is divided into sleeping, relaxing and kitchen/dining areas.
The stunning and unique Somerset Levels are on our doorstep, with ancient drovers tracks and several renowned RSPB wildlife sites. This is  Greylakes, just a short drive away.
The original shuttered windows open wide so that you can take in the views over the farmstead and farmhouse to the front.
The Hayloft is just a 10 minute drive from the cathedral city of Wells.
High ceilings and original beams have kept the character of this lovely old building.
The kitchen area has been careful thought through so that guests have plenty of space and all the equipment they will need for meals in.
As well as the little dining table there is this breakfast bar
Start the day with a treat for breakfast. The whole purpose of this bolt-hole is for guests to relax and feel at home.
There is a comfortable sofa at the heart of the room
The bed is at the far end of the open plan living space, with clever use of the bookshelf to make it feel  tucked away.
The linens are top quality and this comfy bed is perfect at the end of the day.
The sauna is on the ground floor in the corner of the shower-room. Perfect for easing muscles after walking in the Mendip Hills above Wells
The shower is wet-room style - this is a very spacious room.
There is plenty of room for two in your very own sauna.
The wonderful old stone pigsty is now a sheltered place for guests to enjoy a glass of wine. There is additional garden space around the side of the barn.
The Somerset levels are criss crossed with ancient drovers' tracks. These very quiet lanes are excellent as walking trails.
A visit to colourful and quirky Glastonbury is a must. The vibrant town has the iconic tor as its highlight.
A very short drive takes you up into the Mendip Hills. This is Cheddar Gorge - quite breathtaking.
This lovely orchard is just behind the Hayloft - there are sometimes sheep grazing here. Such a traditional sight.

Pricing

All prices are £ per week per cottage. Where applicable the prices are inclusive of VAT. The prices are specified for Saturday changeover dates.

For weekly holidays or short breaks beginning on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday the price for the following Saturday applies. For those beginning on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday the price for the previous week applies.

Bed linen and towels are included in the price. In addition, many cottages also include central heating within the price and this should be taken into consideration when comparing prices. There are no extra charges for cots or high chairs where they are listed in the property description on the website.

A non-refundable booking fee of £28 is payable per booking.
