The Manor House gardens are a delight and all guests are warmly welcomed to explore. They include the tennis court and the barbecue barn which are for you to enjoy too.
A scenic 30 minute drive will take you to the Jurassic Coast.
All the wonderful details in the Lodge celebrate local artists, craftspeople and nature.
There is a separate dining-room and on arrival there are treats that will make you feel so very welcome here.
The extremely well equipped kitchen looks out over the side garden and to the field beyond.
In keeping with the history of the cottage there is a pantry to keep food fresh -  bought from the farm shop just across the road.
The dining-room has a lovely dresser, perfect furniture for this lovely room.
This is the side garden where you can catch the evening sun and which looks across a beautiful meadow complete with occupants Scrappy - pictured - and Pickwick the tame sheep.
The outside details within the garden setting reflect the period of the Lodge.
This is the double bedroom on the first floor. There is a feature Victorian fireplace.
Snuggle up in the evening under quality linen in an antique brass bed.
The twin bedroom can also be made up with just one single bed if you wish.
The twin beds can be made into a king-size bed but please do let the owner know ahead of your arrival so that this can be done for you.
The bathroom is downstairs and has a pretty colour scheme and is a warm and cosy room.

This barbecue barn is in the grounds of Manor Farm. You are welcome to use this area after 6.00 pm when all the free range chickens and ducks have gone to bed !
Guests are warmly invited to use the tennis court in the Manor House gardens, which is available from 1st April to1st October.

The Lodge has a tradiational English cottage garden. It is a delight.

A truly rural lifestyle
Lyme Regis - with the famous Cob Harbour - is a wonderful nearby coastal town.
South Somerset is fortunate to have many historically important houses, such as Montacute, within close driving distance.
Many of the products stocked at the Farm Shop are produced locally. The Apple Orchards at North Perrott produce the famous apple juice.
The Jurassic Coast and World Heritage Site is an easy drive from the cottage through beautiful scenery.
Additional outside seating, barbecue and loungers are stored in the garden shed.
North Perrott cricket club is a short stroll down the lane. Enjoy a real 'English' summer's day watching the match and drinking a beer from the bar facilities.
A view of Glastonbury Tor.  The south Somerset countryside is beautifully unspoilt.
This is the view from the iron age hill Fort at Ham Hill. This special geological site is the source of the beautiful stone of the period buildings through this area.
