The north coast is famous for gorgeous beaches and Perranporth, a great example of one of the best, is a few minutes’ drive from lovely Primrose Cottage. Nestled in a tranquil, peaceful valley approached by a half-mile farm track, this is truly part of God’s own acre; or rather 14 acres of privately owned meadows and woodland.
With its own private garden, the cottage has Delabole slate flooring downstairs, a beamed ceiling and an open fire. Between October and April the Rayburn runs one radiator and provides an alternative form of cooking (but is switched off due to heat output between May to September; there are also two electric heaters and an open fire). With just one other property next door, where the Owner lives, and the occasional passing rambler, the absolute peace of this rural haven is rarely disturbed.
