Children will fall in love with the Toblerone-shaped den hidden behind cupboard doors and accessed via its own little ladder. The hideaway is strewn with bean bags and equipped with a TV and a games console.

Outside a large decked terrace gives way to a small sloping lawn, a lovely space for al fresco dining on warm evenings and fully equipped with a dining-table and gas barbecue. Extra outdoor storage is provided for surfboards, bicycles and kayaks. Two sit-on-top kayaks are provided for guests’ use, with paddles and flotation aids provided.
