2 Glendorgal is a two-storey house, in a small horseshoe of 15 properties, nestled above the beach. You can access the property either via a ramp or flight of steps. The parking bay is a short walk away from the property.

Porth Island which sits on the other side of Porth Beach is an Iron Age Cliff Fort with ramparts still clearly visible.
Porth Island is accessible over a sturdy wooden bridge and the views beyond stretch past Watergate Bay to Trevose Head in the distance.
At half tide Porth Beach is accessible directly from Glendorgal down its own steps roughly hewn into the rocks - but care is needed.

Double2 Glendorgal is situated within the grounds of the Glendorgal Hotel. With around 17 acres of private (and gated) headland, boasting the most fabulous views of the crashing Atlantic Ocean, this attractive property sits in a quiet cul de sac of purpose built holiday homes. Offering reverse level living to take advantage of the side view of Porth beach a short walk away, and beyond to Trevose Head in the distance.
This mid terraced house offers cosy and comfortable accommodation for up to seven guests (an extra child can be accommodated on a fold out bed in Bedroom 2).
On the first floor of this surprisingly spacious house is the light and airy open plan living area which is subtly furnished in soft greys and yellows. The dining-area has direct access to a private balcony where you can sit in the sun with your morning coffee and admire the view. The kitchen is compact, however equipped to a good standard, with all you may need to cook up something rather special.
Take the stairs down to the ground floor; here you will find three double bedrooms and family shower-room. Bedroom 1 (which also has a fabulous en suite shower-room) and Bedroom 2 both have patio doors leading onto an enclosed decked garden, where the family can all gather together to enjoy an al fresco dinner.
2 Glendorgal directly overlooks the gorgeous sheltered Porth Beach, and is within walking distance of Whipsiderry Bay, Tolcarne and Great Western beaches, as well of course Newquay's famous surfing beach, Fistral. A short drive or longer coastal path walk takes you to the beautiful Watergate Bay.
Further along the rugged north coast is the traditional Cornish fishing village of Padstow with its picturesque harbour and exquisite Rick Stein's seafood restaurant, which is well worth booking in advance as it gets extremely popular, especially in the summer months.
