Sea Lights

Sea Lights boasts the most amazing sea view, open any of the French doors from the sitting-area, dining-area or main bedroom and take in the delights of outdoors. The elegant sun terrace sits wonderfully with a fantastic sized lawned garden and furniture set up for you to enjoy your meals al fresco on warmer days and evenings whilst taking in that amazing sea air which surrounds you. Car parking is available on site for at least three vehicles. The owner of Sea Lights also owns the boatyard at Gurnard and has made available by separate arrangement the ability to bring your own paddle boards, kayaks or small Rib boats.

Gurnard Beach is a quaint, traditional pebble and shingle beach, within walking distance of Cowes on the northwest coast of the Isle of Wight, with amazing sea views across the Solent, and some of the best sunsets you are likely to find anywhere in the UK. It is bordered by attractive beach huts on its sea wall that are leased locally. Behind the beach huts is a large, sloped green with children's playground area. You're close by to Gurnard Sailing Club where you can become a visiting member for the summer months. If you fancy a bite to eat, there are lovely places for you to visit in the village such as Gurnard Press Cafe as well as two lovely pubs, The Woodvale and The Portland Inn. Sailing and water sports are popular pastimes at this beach, especially between here and Gurnard Marsh, the next seafront hamlet to the east. Beyond the green you will find The Woodvale, a traditional pub offering the perfect views for watching boats sail past and the spectacular sunsets.
