DoubleLakeview House is a stunning holiday property in east Devon, inland from the World Heritage Jurassic Coast from Budleigh Salterton and Sidmouth in east Devon through to Lyme Regis in Dorset. With lake views, of course, use of a 2.5 acre lake stocked with carp, a wonderful private hot tub, large enclosed garden and with fantastic accommodation over three floors, this is a holiday property for all the family.
Semi-detached Lakeview House has its sociable living accommodation and smart contemporary kitchen on the ground floor with direct access to the patio and enclosed garden. Three of the four bedrooms are on the first floor, the en suite bedroom and one of the double bedrooms with amazing panoramic views, and the fourth bedroom and snug with a further TV, DVDs, Nintendo Wii and other games for children are on the second floor.
Guests at Lakeview House and Lakeside House have sole use of the well-stocked carp fishing lake - a lovely place just to picnic by and to sit with a book. The only time this lake is out of action is when the fish are spawning. The usual rules for fishing apply.

This part of east Devon is so easy to reach from both the M5 and the A303/A30. The market town of Honiton is a treasure trove of antiques shops and a short drive beyond it is the spectacular Jurassic Coast with all its little seaside towns and fishing villages for days out.
Lyme Regis sits on the east Devon and Dorset border and has a wonderful sandy beach for children as does Exmouth. In between are some delightfully unspoilt places such as Beer, Branscombe, Sidmouth and Budleigh Salterton.
The Blackdown Hills are just a few miles away and Woodbury Common, close to the coast, is criss-crossed with trails for mountain bikes and walkers with the sea in the distance.
The Cathedral City of Exeter has all the culture, shopping and restaurants that you might want but of course east Devon's villages are home to some excellent country pubs.
As if all these facilities were not enough, the owners also provide a Tassimo Happy Coffee machine and an electric mini-oven providing extra cooking facilities, and a full range of baby-friendly equipment over and above a travel cot, high chair and stair-gate. You will have use of bouncy chairs, play mats, a food blender, bottle warmer, steriliser, toilet seat and step, dining-room booster seat, bed guards and even a pushchair. All you need to pack are your suitcases and yourselves!
You can order up a takeaway and the owners will deliver to your doorstep. Everything is planned to give you the best and most relaxing stay possible whether you are a family of different ages or a group of friends.
