KingTucked away down a quiet country lane, the little hamlet of Trewalder is the home of Rooky's Nook. This charming, detached cottage oozes romance and with no expense spared will provide discerning couples with a home-from-home hideaway.
Rough cast walls, slate floors and a large inglenook-style fireplace in the sitting/dining-room provide the backdrop for the perfect romantic retreat. The kitchen is well-equipped and has a stable-door to the patio. Upstairs, the delightful galleried bedroom joins the exceptionally large bathroom.
Another welcoming feature is the private patio garden where peace and quiet can be found in abundance.
It is only a short drive from the stunning beaches and walks of the north Cornish coastline and the village of Port Isaac. Full of character, coupled with all that you could wish for, Rooky's Nook will prove to be your best kept secret and we are sure you will wish to return again and again.
Close to the fantastic beaches, yet set deep in the countryside, Rooky's Nook is ideal for exploring this stunning area of Cornwall. The wonderful Eden Project is not too far away and for another day out The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Trebah Gardens are really worth a visit.
For the foodies, there are so many restaurants to think about visiting as you have Rick Stein in Padstow and Newquay. There is also Nathan Outlaw, who is a fantastic chef, in Rock and Port Isaac itself.
