Zip and linkIn a tranquil Devonshire valley, this gorgeous stone cottage has sunlight streaming in through glazed doors and floor length windows. Approached by a farm lane, past Aveton Farmhouse (1891) on the right (not available for separate rent when the cottage is occupied), Aveton Cottage is tucked into a hill and is entered at ground level on the upper floor, where the open-beamed contemporary living-room has under-floor heating. The two en suite bedrooms are downstairs. The nearby annexe provides space for two and is approached by stone steps a short distance from the cottage.
Close by is a large indoor heated swimming pool with a small gym and games-room as well as the farmhouse gardens, extensive woodlands and riverside walks all for use by the cottage guests.
The swimming pool may be used between 7am and 11pm. The Owner may occasionally use the pool between 7am and 8am but otherwise guests have exclusive use.
