DoubleTucked away in the centre of Mullion yet within a mile of the beach, little Corlan Cottage is surrounded by beautiful countryside. The village shops and facilities are just beyond the private drive shared with the neighbouring owner.
The original beams and stonework inside this converted old granite building have been carefully preserved; up in the eaves a minstrels' gallery with a low sloping ceiling runs along two-thirds of the cottage, an intriguing 'den' accessed by a wall-ladder (please do not allow children to move the ladder, this is to be moved by adults only).
Corlan Cottage makes for perfect accommodation for a couple or a young family. The compact ground floor accommodation includes a cosy sitting/dining-room with a welcoming wood-burner, a bathroom, a shower-room and two bedrooms - which, though small, are tastefully furnished. The well-equipped kitchen leads out to the enclosed lawned back garden where there is plenty of space for younger members of the party and the dog to run around while the grown-ups sit back and relax, enjoying wonderful far reaching countryside views.
One small dog is welcomed at Corlan Cottage.
Poldhu, Polurrian and Mullion Coves are not far from the cottage, and Mullion's renowned links golf course and the beautiful Helford River are both just a short drive away.
