This lovely, light and spacious detached house located on Fairy Road in Seaview, just a short stroll from the seafront, makes a fantastic base for a wonderful holiday on the Isle of Wight. This exclusive road is perfectly positioned in Seaview, all the local amenities and beach are within walking distance from your front door, including a general store and Lily’s cafe. There is private parking for one car plus unrestricted parking on Fairy Road itself.

The front door opens to a superb open plan kitchen/dining-room with additional soft seating to sit back and relax on whilst keeping an eye on the little ones at supper time. Merivale is also ideal for two couples or families as two of the bedrooms on the ground floor are doubles but due to space restriction bedroom one is only suitable for one person.

Bi-fold doors off the kitchen lead out to a good sized enclosed garden with paved area, bringing the outside in and making this a superb property in the summer months. The kitchen is modern and very well-equipped with a sociable layout and a large dining-table which easily caters for everyone. There is a separate sitting-room, also with double doors opening to the garden, ideal for the kids to watch a film in the evening whilst you linger over mealtimes and leisurely plan the days ahead.

Merivale is stylishly decorated throughout with charming finishing touches. The main bedroom on the first floor has an elegant feel with a sleek and modern en suite with bath and separate shower cubicle. The second bedroom on the first floor, which overlooks the garden, has a single bed.

Just a short walk along the road takes you to Seaview, where The Seaview Hotel takes centre stage, a fabulous patio area to the front overlooks the Solent. This is an idyllic spot to sample their famous crab ramekin and soak up the unique atmosphere of this small Edwardian resort. A traditional bar in the hotel has a warm and welcoming feel, great in the winter months, so there is something for all the seasons. A well-stocked community store is a relatively new addition to the village, with a wide range of local Island produce. Why not nip down the road in the morning to get your fresh croissants, a lovely way to start the day! The Old Fort pub is located opposite the renowned Yacht Club on the seafront and has amazing views over the Solent, watch the ships sail by whilst you tuck into your fish and chips, just heaven!
