TwinFound down a quiet and unmade farm lane, Dowstall Barn is located on a small working farm with only the farmhouse as a residential neighbour. Less than a mile from the famous Pandora Inn at beautiful Restronguet Creek and set in a wonderfully tranquil countryside location, Dowstall Barn is perfect for relaxing and enjoyable holidays. Mylor Bridge is just down the road with all the village amenities you could require, while Mylor Yacht Harbour is a mile further on, offering blissful water views from the lovely cafe and restaurant.
Found down a quiet and unmade farm lane, Dowstall Barn has only Dowstall Farmhouse as a residential neighbour and while this is not a working farm, there is a small organic producer in the fields nearby who sells their produce along with plenty of other local goods at the end of the farm lane.
With two sitting-rooms, four bedrooms and four bath or shower rooms, Dowstall Barn has plenty of room to spread out making it ideal for larger families and groups of friends. There is masses of outdoor space with lawns and a patio for outdoor meals and children's games and plenty of storage for canoes, kayaks, bicycles and surfboards.
Inside, both sitting-rooms have toasty wood-burners, the main sitting-room has a high-vaulted ceiling and a gallery-area above, which provides a third cosy sitting-area (please be aware there is no central heating in this sitting-room. There is, however, a wood-burner and electric oil-filled radiators should you need them). The big farmhouse-style kitchen/dining-room has ample space for everybody to gather for family meals. Upstairs, two of the bedrooms have en suite shower-rooms and two other bedrooms share the family bathroom. There is also a shower-room on the ground floor – perfect when returning from the beach!
The surrounding fields grow daffodils and salad leaves, and provide pasture for a small herd of alpacas. There are beautiful walks and cycling routes in the surrounding countryside and along the Helford River, and Mylor Yacht Harbour is just a couple of miles away.
Ideal for family gatherings, Dowstall Barn is also available out-of-season for parties of six or less at a discounted rate. Please be aware that on Fridays and Saturdays there's a one-way system in place along the lane leading to the property as there are limited passing places.

Dowstall Barn is approached down an unmade farm track, please drive slowly and with great care. The track is not suitable for low slung vehicles. The property is on a working farm and there is no access to the farmyard, this is not safe for guests.
