TwinWith its safe, sandy, rock-pooly beach and a great gastro pub, Perranuthnoe is an idyllic, peaceful village by the sea. The Summer House, sleeping four or six guests, is set in the heart of the village within an enclosed garden, just 300 yards from the pub in one direction, and the beach the other.
The decor is stylish and neutral with a sense of warmth and simplicity, and being all on one level it is ideal for guests with limited mobility. The sitting-room has sisal flooring, a roaring wood-burner and there is a large table in the dining-area where French doors lead out to the terrace and garden. There are three bedrooms, two twins are along the corridor with the double bedroom at the far end, boasting a modern en suite bathroom.
The garden is perfect for children to enjoy after a day on the beach, surfing or building sandcastles, or for adults to enjoy a glass or two after strolling the coast path that is right on your doorstep. This isn't just a Summer House, it's a cosy winter one too.
The South West Coast Path is just a few yards away; an easy walk west will take you to Marazion, with St Michael's Mount visible all the way.
