You can indeed see the harbour lights from this immaculate cliffside apartment set above bustling Mevagissey harbour, and watch the fishing fleet as they come and go. This ancient, picturesque port is an intriguing jumble of narrow, twisting lanes and fishermen’s cottages clinging to the surrounding hills. There are old smugglers’ pubs and cosy cafes, seaside shops and cliffside walks.

Harbour Lights provides a wonderfully comfortable contemporary base from which to explore this charming village; a beautifully appointed apartment with oak woodwork, limestone tiles, Smart TV and luxurious beds. The views are superb, stretching across Mevagissey Bay to Polperro and beyond, so sit on the glass-sided balcony and watch the action; you might even see seals or a basking shark.

Harbour Lights offers all the comforts of home with soft leather sofas, a large Smart TV with unlimited WiFi broadband access, so you can watch catch-up TV or stream films for the children. The limestone-tiled kitchen has a large hatchway through to the dining-area, allowing the cook to appreciate the panoramic views even when at work! The main bedroom has a king-size leather bed, en suite shower-room and doors out to a secluded and sheltered patio-area with seating which catches the afternoon sun. The second double bedroom has a Vi-Spring mattress and superb sea views, and the little single bedroom looks down to the harbour below.

You can walk down to the village to buy fresh fish straight from the boats, or follow the coastal footpaths along the cliffs – with a picnic backpack, local maps and a walking guide all provided for guests’ use, there's no excuse not to venture forth! Nearby, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Eden Project and historic Charlestown harbour, complete with tall ships, all beg to be explored and inland cycle trails and spectacular views from the rugged coastal footpaths can also be enjoyed by the more adventurous.
