Tucked away down a little lane affording the most gorgeous views stretching out across open countryside to the wooded hillsides of the Glynn Valley beyond, you will unwind and relax from the minute you arrive at this rural retreat in the heart of Cornwall.

Delightfully presented with a mix of contemporary style and upcycled chic to create the warmest of welcomes, Robley Farmhouse has been designed to soak up the idyllic setting at every opportunity - so whether you are indulging in blue sky dining on the large sunny terrace, enjoying a soak in the bubbling hot tub or simply chilling out in the sitting-room, the view is all around you.

Tranquil in its setting, there are many unexpected delights to discover right on your doorstep, yet the glorious beaches, pretty fishing villages and coastal walks of Cornwall's north and south coast are all within easy access so this is a great base for family and friends who are looking for a blend of countryside pursuits and coastal adventures.

The kitchen-area has a stylish Smeg fridge/freezer and a large range cooker that will delight the chef in the party and they have the choice to serve meals at the breakfast-bar, the dining-table or step out through the patio door and enjoy meals in the great outdoors. The dual-aspect sitting-room also has doors leading out to the terrace and garden along with a wonderful open fire to snuggle up in front of on chiller nights.

Upstairs the main bedroom has a super-king size bed and en suite shower-room, and along with the king-size and twin bedrooms all enjoy those far reaching views. The bunk bedroom will thrill younger members of the party, and the family bathroom tops off the accommodation.

After a great night's sleep you will be ready to lace up those walking boots and explore the dramatic landscape of Bodmin Moor, and there are more walking as well as cycling trails to discover through the woods at Cardinham and Lanhydrock. If you fancy some easier cycling join the renowned Camel Trail in Bodmin and wend your way along the pretty Camel estuary to the popular harbourside town of Padstow. The historic house and gardens at Lanhydrock (National Trust) are quite stunning and the pretty cottage garden and nursery of Pinsla is literally just up the road - not only is it a nice garden but they also serve lovely home-made cake! If you want to take in some live entertainment and theatre, Sterts open air theatre offers a seasonal programme of shows and plays and you can listen to live acts in the Rum Store at Carnglaze Caverns - a truly unique venue.

You're in Cornwall so the coast will of course beckon. There are glorious beaches at Polzeath and Daymer Bay on the north coast along with award-winning restaurants in Padstow and Port Isaac. On the south, trips to the pretty town of Fowey along with the historic Charlestown are a must, and for a nostalgic day at the seaside venture over to Looe.

New for 2024 : During the winter of 2023/24 the owners are making some changes to Robley Farmhouse to add to overall enjoyment of the property. Downstairs they are adding a shower-room along with a large second sitting-room/games room which will include a supersize TV, perfect for a movie night and a pool table. This will lead out to a new decking area with an outside kitchen area including a barbecue and outside fireplace. The owners are also installing an outside shower, ideal for washing off walking boots and dogs after a romp around the countryside and sandy bodies and wetsuits after a day at the beach. Upstairs the bunk bedded room is being extended so will now offer twin beds. The owners are also installing air source heating along with solar panels. New photographs will be added as soon as possible. We can't wait to see it.
