KingThe Packing House is a gorgeous holiday home, perfectly situated in the pretty village of Madron, surrounded by the beautiful countryside of far West Cornwall and just a short drive away from the stunning beaches of St Ives and Sennen Cove.
Spacious and beautifully appointed, The Packing House is the perfect holiday choice for families or a group of friends looking for the perfect Cornish retreat. From the moment you arrive you will be captivated by the peace and tranquility of the surrounding countryside. Step over the threshold and the gorgeous interiors welcome you to relax and re-charge. The sitting-area has a huge contemporary fire, ideal for relaxing after a busy day at any time of year. Bi-fold doors lead you on to the south-facing terrace, the perfect spot for morning coffee and al fresco dining. The Shaker-style kitchen/diner is finished off with a large farmhouse table so everyone can gather around whilst the chef creates a culinary feast. Off the kitchen, a convenient utility-room is home to the washing machine and tumble-drier. The spacious twin bedroom is on this floor next to the wet-room, making this ideal for guests with limited mobility (there is also a ramp to the property).
The first floor is home to two additional luxurious bedrooms, both en suite so no queuing for a morning shower here! The main bedroom boasts a super-king double bed with luxury linens and a gorgeous free-standing bath in the en suite, whilst bedroom three has a king-size bed. All the bedrooms have the added benefit of a TV and lovely views across the countryside to Mount's Bay.
Perfectly positioned to make the most of west Cornwall, The Packing House is just one mile away from the bustling town of Penzance with a great range of eclectic shops, eateries and a lovely promenade for a seaside stroll. Magical St Michael's Mount sits splendidly in the bay and should definitely be on your list of "places to visit" either by walking along the causeway at low tide or by passenger ferry when the tide is in.
The cute village of Mousehole is a little further away and worth a visit for pretty scenery and a lovely harbour. St Ives on the north coast is renowned as an artist's paradise, drawn to the iridescent light and turquoise sea. Take the scenic train journey from St Erth and enjoy a day to remember in this iconic town.
Water sports lovers will enjoy kite surfing along the Mount's Bay coast, whilst surfers will head for the breakers of the north. However you spend your time, a holiday at The Packing House will be one to remember.
